Terms & Conditions — Butter Up Cake Co

Quotes

Quotes are valid for a period of 30 days from the quoted date. After the 30 days has expired the final quoted price may be subject to price increases. To convert your quote to an order you must notify Butter Up Cake Co in writing to proceed.

Deposits

A non refundable deposit of 50% of the total order is required to secure your date within 7 days of an invoice being issued. The remaining balance must be paid within 7 days of your required date.

Cancellations & Refunds

If you cancel your order your deposit will not be refunded. If you cancel your order within 14 days of the delivery or collection date, there will be no refund issued if the full balance has been paid. Please note if you cancel within 7 days the outstanding balance will still be required to be paid.

If you are unhappy with the cake/s or products taste or quality you must contact Butter Up Cake Co within 24 hours of collection/delivery. A refund will be determined by Butter Up Cake Co after a reasonable sized sample of the cake/s or products is returned and examined. (A reasonable size sample is more than 3 quarters of the product) If you are unhappy with the design then the cake/s or products must be returned unaltered and untouched to be eligible for a partial refund.

Wedding Deposits

A non refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your date within 14 days of an invoice being issued or partial payments for the deposit can be taken over 30 days. The remaining balance must be paid within 30 days of your required date.

Wedding Cancellations & Refunds

If you cancel your order your 50% deposit will not be refunded. If you cancel your order within 3 months of the wedding date, there will be no refund issued if the full balance has been paid. Please note if you cancel your order within 30 days of your wedding date the outstanding balance will still be required to be paid.

COVID-19:

If your event is disrupted by Covid-19 we will endeavor to accommodate your booking by rescheduling the order or adjusting the size of your order to suit. The cancellation/refund policy noted above is still valid in regards to Covid-19 at our discretion.

Delivery

Delivery inside the Busselton townsite areas is free, Outside this area is charged at a rate of 70c per km travelled (round trip) unless otherwise stipulated on your quote.

Set Up/Delivery/Collection:

Butter Up Cake Co is not responsible for any damage to the cake/s or products after collection or delivery/set up of the order is complete. The client is responsible for providing a sturdy and secure table and appropriate environment for the cake/s or products. Cakes can be quite heavy and will require a secure table/bench & an optimal room temperature which is below 23 degrees celsius.

If the client or a chosen party collects the cake/s or products, you assume all liability and responsibility for the cake/s or products once it leaves my possession.

Flowers/Cake Toppers:

Fresh flowers can contain insects, other contaminants and are not edible. The client acknowledges the above. Fresh flowers are an additional charge.

Cake toppers will need to be sourced by yourself and either delivered to myself 7 days before the date or at the location for set up on the day, if you are having an edible topper such as fresh fruit or berries this will be at an additional charge depending on what is in season/or required for the order.

Wedding Cake Tastings:

Wedding Cake Tasting Boxes can be purchased for $45.

They include 6 different flavours (Vanilla, Red Velvet, Caramel Mud, Dark Choc Mud, White Choc Mud & White Choc Raspberry Mud) topped with Buttercream Icing and a range of our sauces or curds.

Cake tastings are offered as collection ONLY from 2022 onwards.

Allergies:

Butter Up Cake Co products may contain or have traces of Wheat, Eggs, Peanuts & Tree Nuts, Soy, Dairy. The client agrees to notify guests of the allergen risk and will not hold Butter Up Cake Co accountable for any allergic reactions to the cake/s or products.
